On Saturday, June 13, 2026, Odd Fellows of Rockville Centre held its annual Corn Hole Fundraiser, where every bag thrown helped make a difference.

The Ryan Patrick O’Shea Foundation won an award for Best Float for the second time for their newly updated and remodeled float.

The Ryan Patrick O’Shea Foundation sponsored Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) for members of the RVC Police Department. The two day training shared skill sets for officers to recognize and support individuals who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide. We appreciate the officers’ willingness and enthusiasm to support others.

Community members and supporters gathered at the St. Agnes Parish Center for the Ryan Patrick O’Shea Foundation’s 7th annual “Rise Up for Ryan” fundraiser, uniting the Long Island community in support of suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

St. Agnes Cathedral held its 4th Annual Bazaar from June 19-22, 2025. It was a place where faith, fun, and fellowship came alive! But before stepping into a world of adventurous rides, delicious treats, and exciting games, visitors got to visit the Ryan Patrick O’Shea Foundation tent and take a moment to discover how THEY ARE a part of something special.

Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D-Rockville Centre) proudly attended and supported the annual Rise Up for Ryan fundraiser at the St. Agnes Parish Center in Rockville Centre on June 7. The event is hosted by the Ryan Patrick O’Shea Foundation, a 501(c)(3) foundation that is committed to increasing mental health awareness and education in its mission to prevent suicide.

The Sixth Annual “Rise Up for Ryan” Fundraiser was held on Saturday, June 7th at the St. Agnes Parish Center and was a Night to Remember!

From growing up in Fall River, MA to playing Division 1 basketball and in the NBA, Chris Herren will take the audience on his journey from addiction to sobriety. The event will start with a 5-minute film introducing Herren and showing highlights of his basketball career and his dream to play in the NBA which began to unravel by making a few bad decisions.

The Ryan Patrick O’Shea Foundation was recognized by the NY Islanders at their home game on March 24th at UBS. 25% of the amount collected from the 50/50 raffle was donated to our foundation! Thank you NY Islanders for spotlighting the Ryan Patrick O’Shea Foundation and to all of our volunteers & and friends & family for coming out tonight to support our cause.
